Hollywood actor Jim Carrey, 64, has married his long-time partner Minah, 32.
According to multiple U.S. entertainment media outlets, Jim Carrey held a small, private wedding with his partner Minah in Los Angeles on September 30 (local time). A representative for Jim Carrey also confirmed the marriage to PEOPLE and Just Jared on the same day. The ceremony was held quietly with only close friends and family in attendance, and the exact date was not disclosed.
Minah is an LA-based actor and artist. According to local media outlets, she is an artist of Korean descent. The two sparked dating rumors in February 2022 when they were spotted together in LA.
While receiving an honorary award at the César Awards held in Paris, France, last February, Jim Carrey said in his acceptance speech, "Thank you to my wonderful family, my daughter Jane and my grandson Jackson. I love you now and forever. Thank you to my sublime companion, Minah. I love you, Minah."
He added, "Lastly, thank you to the funniest person I know, my father Percy Joseph Carrey, who taught me the value of love, generosity, and laughter." They have thus become a married couple seven months after making their romance public.
This marriage marks Jim Carrey's third. He married former actor Melissa Womer in 1987 and had a daughter, Jane, before divorcing in 1995. The following year, in 1996, he married actor Lauren Holly, whom he worked with in the movie "Dumb and Dumber," but they separated in less than a year. Later, he began dating Renée Zellweger, whom he met on "Me, Myself & Irene," in 1999 and even became engaged before breaking up the following year.
