Shin Jang-sik, leader of the Rebuilding Korea Party, called on the leadership of the Democratic Party of Korea to "declare an end to divisive politics" regarding derogatory terms used by some in the ruling camp, such as "Mun-Jo-Teol-Rae-Yu" (Moon Jae-in, Cho Kuk, Kim Ou-joon, Jung Chung-rae, and Rhyu Si-min).
Speaking at a supreme council meeting held at the National Assembly today (September 28), Shin said, "Even now, some members of the Democratic Party and YouTubers are 'selling Lee Jae-myung's name.' They do not hesitate to use criticism and mockery, not to mention vulgar language and curses."
He added, "Public sentiment during Chuseok can be summarized in two words: 'dissatisfaction' and 'anxiety.' Even when the president appeals, the divisive tactics continue. Will you wait until all of the president's approval ratings are eaten away, overtaken by the People Power Party, and only right before the 2028 general election talk about setting up an emergency committee or bringing in fresh blood?"
Shin continued, "Those who push comrades aside as enemies while ignoring the fight against insurrectionist forces and inequality are either undercover agents or mere merchants. They are the truly dangerous enemies. Resolutely declare a severing of ties with them."
He further noted, "Two battle lines have been drawn right now: the 'resistance of insurrectionist forces' and 'internal division.' We must return to our initial mindset when confronting insurrection, hold round-table discussions once again, and revive and carry out one by one what the democratic progressive camp needs to do."
