Lee Kang-in: "All Players Unified as One Team"

Lee Kang-in (Atlético Madrid), who watched South Korean national football team interim manager Robert Moreno's managerial debut match against Ecuador from the stands, assessed, "All players worked hard for the team."

Attending an official press conference held today (the 27th) at the Seoul World Cup Stadium a day ahead of the friendly match against Uruguay, Lee emphasized, "I have high expectations as I am playing a match in Korea after a long time. As we achieved a good result in the Ecuador match, we will do even better at what we do well to produce another good result."

Selected for the "first generation of Moreno's squad," Lee was excluded from the matchday roster for the Ecuador match by decision of the coaching staff to maintain his condition, watching the match from the stands.

When asked about his impressions of watching the Ecuador match, Lee shared, "I felt strongly that what the coach pursues most is for all players to play for the team. Our players really worked hard for the team."

He explained, "The most emphasized aspect was teamwork. He emphasized that all players must unite for a goal and do their best. All players who took to the pitch united well and played well."

Lee also brought smiles to the press corps with a shy smile as he said, "I don't really like doing interviews... I only came out because I was told to."
