More gold medal news has arrived from the Asian Games. South Korean artistic gymnastics star Yeo Seo-jeong has returned to the top in the vault event after eight years. With her second career Asian Games gold medal, she has matched the feat of her father, Yeo Hong-chul.

Advancing to the finals in first place during the preliminaries, Yeo Seo-jeong launched herself powerfully from her first attempt and soared through the air with brilliance.
It was the 5.4-difficulty Yeo 2 technique created by her father, Yeo Hong-chul.

Receiving a top score of 14.466 points, Yeo slightly lowered her difficulty to 5.0 for her second attempt and sprinted down the runway with even greater energy.
Once again, she executed all her skills without a flaw.
Although she took an extra step upon landing, it posed no major problem.
North Korea's An Chang-ok, who followed, briefly created tension by showcasing a high-difficulty technique in her first attempt, but faltered significantly on her landing in the second attempt and failed to surpass Yeo.
With a combined score of 14.483 points, Yeo Seo-jeong finished 0.817 points ahead of An Chang-ok to proudly claim first place.
Upon confirming her gold medal, Yeo expressed her joy with a bright smile, draped the South Korean flag over her shoulders, and responded to the cheers of the spectators.
