Group BTS's world tour "ARIRANG" has ranked first in cumulative worldwide tour revenue for the third quarter, BigHit Music announced on September 24.
On September 22 (local time), the concert industry specialized media outlet Pollstar released the cumulative ticket sales figures for each tour from November 13 of last year to August 12 of this year.
Starting in April of this year, BTS's world tour "ARIRANG" drew 2,314,140 audience members across 38 shows.
Ticket sales amounted to approximately 637 billion won, making it the highest revenue among worldwide tours conducted during this period.
With this record, the tour has already surpassed last year's top-ranking performance.
According to Pollstar, the most successful tour last year was Beyoncé's "Cowboy Carter Tour", which recorded approximately 557.4 billion won.
The city with the most tickets sold during BTS's current tour was Las Vegas, United States.
Four shows were held at Allegiant Stadium in May, attracting 245,691 people and recording approximately 91.1 billion won in ticket sales.
BTS will begin its South American tour starting in Bogota: City of the Lost, Colombia, on October 2.
