"HYBE's global group" &TEAM has proven their strong upward trajectory in both South Korea and Japan by topping the Oricon chart in Japan with their new Korean album, "Mark on Me".
According to the latest chart released by Oricon on the 22nd (for the September 21 chart), &TEAM's (Eijun, Fuma, K, Nicholas, Yuma, Jo, Harua, Taki, Maki) second Korean mini-album, "Mark on Me", went straight to the top of the Daily Album Ranking upon its local release.
"Mark on Me" previously sold 1,224,524 copies on the very first day of its release in Korea (the 8th), heading straight to No. 1 on the Hanteo Chart's daily physical album chart. First-week sales reached 1,357,357 copies, surpassing the record of their previous release, their first Korean mini-album "Back to Life" (1,222,022 copies). With this, &TEAM has achieved million-seller status for four consecutive works—beginning with their third Japanese single "Go in Blind" released in April of last year, followed by their first Korean mini-album "Back to Life", their third Japanese mini-album "We on Fire", and now "Mark on Me"—continuing to set new career highs with every album release.
"Mark on Me" is an album that captures the stories of the nine members who want to leave an unforgettable mark on each other's destinies. A total of six tracks are included, featuring the title track of the same name, "Good Boy", "Love Letter", "Accelerate", "Empty", and "Night to howl!".
&TEAM held a showcase for "Mark on Me" at the Tokyo Garden Theater in Japan on the 21st, where they performed the stage version of "Good Boy (Japanese ver.)" for the first time, and released the digital track the following day to enthusiastic responses from fans.
Meanwhile, they will grandly wrap up their Asia tour at the KSPO Dome in Songpa-gu, Seoul, on October 3 to 4.
