Comedian Shin Gi-roo successfully wrapped up her first solo performance with a complete sellout.
On September 20, Shin held her first-ever solo talk concert, titled "Nocon Show," at Daeyang Hall of Sejong University in Seoul, drawing enthusiastic attention by recording a full house. Promising "no filter, no concept, and no script," the "Nocon Show" captivated the audience through direct communication, showcasing Shin's signature uninhibited wit and unique charms that she had not yet fully revealed on television.
Taking the stage during the opening alongside a highlight reel of her past activities, Shin shared her thoughts on holding her first solo show, saying, "I want to thank my fans for making me realize that I am a beloved person. Thank you sincerely for gifting me the happiest day in the world."
On this day, Shin presented a variety of segments highlighting her honest and bold appeal. She directly touched upon episodes related to herself and enlivened the venue with her distinctive wit by utilizing clever direct messages (DMs) received from fans and doppelganger photos. She also brought laughter by demonstrating quick wits in filling in the blanks of news headlines and a real-time witty banter contest.
MeloMance's Kim Min-seok appeared as a special guest to add brilliance to the "Nocon Show." Kim, who built a connection with Shin through the YouTube content "Mockery Feast," received loud applause by performing a duet with Shin and completing a unique chemistry together.
Fellow broadcasters including Song Eun-i, Lee Yong-jin, Hong Yoon-hwa, Pungja, Lee Eun-hyung, Kang Jae-joon, Huh Anna, Kwon Jae-gwan, and Park Jun-myun also added meaning by attending the concert as audience members. They enjoyed Shin's first solo performance on-site and lent their support with generous applause and cheers.
Meanwhile, having successfully completed her Seoul performance, Shin plans to continue the "Nocon Show" in Jeonju and Changwon to meet local audiences.
