Yes, a story recently surfaced on an online community about a father whose lost wallet was safely returned to him.
At the end of last month, a person identified as A's father put gas in his car at a self-service gas station, forgot that he had placed his wallet on top of the car trunk, and drove off.
The wallet contained about 700,000 won in cash and credit cards.
He went back to the gas station belatedly, but the wallet was already gone. Thinking it would be difficult to find, about a month passed until one day, he received a call from a community center stating that they were keeping his wallet.
The returned wallet contained every single piece of cash and card without a single thing missing, along with a handwritten letter left by the finder.
The letter reportedly said, "It is not right for something precious to someone to end up in the wrong hands," and "Returning it to the owner makes my heart feel light and puts me in a good mood."
Since the finder could not find contact information, they even checked the resident registration address to track down the owner of the wallet, according to reports.
