The 2026 THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS (TMA) will be held on the 19th at the Busan Asiad Main Stadium.
A total of 17 teams, including RIIZE, RESCENE, xikers, IDID, ILLIT, Alpha Drive One, EVAN, ATEEZ, NMIXX, ALLDAY PROJECT, LIM YOUNGWOONG, YENA, CORTIS, Close Your Eyes, KiiiKiii, TREASURE, and tripleS (in alphabetical order in Korean), will take to the stage. Jun Hyun-moo and Seohyun will host the main event as co-MCs, while broadcaster Jaejae will host the red carpet. Actor Kim Soo-hyun will attend as an award presenter, making a public appearance in South Korea.
The TMA has been held overseas in Japan and Macau over the past two years, and will return to South Korea after three years to be held in Busan for the first time.
At this year's awards ceremony, xikers, Close Your Eyes, and tripleS will each present cover stages reinterpreting BTS's "Hooligan," NCT DREAM's "Beat It Up," and aespa's "LEMONADE," respectively.
TREASURE member Jihoon and KiiiKiii member Jiyu, both natives of Busan, will put on a special performance as the duo "Busan-z." Meanwhile, xikers and ATEEZ will perform unreleased tracks from music broadcasts for the first time, and Close Your Eyes will premiere a track from their 4th mini-album, set to be released on the 30th.
The award categories include the grand prizes "Icon of the Year," "Muse of the Year," "Sound of the Year," and "Record of the Year," as well as "Today's Choice," "World Best Performer," and "Next Leader," which will be determined by on-site voting.
