Actress Han Ye-ri has joined forces with the newly established agency STUDIO VIEWTYQUE.
Studio Viewtyque announced on September 18, "We are delighted to embark on this journey with actress Han Ye-ri, who possesses unrivaled acting skills and a diverse range of charms," sharing the news of her exclusive contract.
With this, Han has become the very first actor of Studio Viewtyque. The agency stated, "Based on the solid expertise she has built over the years, we will spare no effort in providing full support so that actress Han Ye-ri can fully unleash her potential across various fields," adding, "Looking in the same direction, we will accompany her as a reliable partner to further expand her cinematic world."
Having stepped into acting through short films while majoring in dance, Han made her name known to the general public through the film "As One," and has since portrayed characters of varying textures with her own unique color in numerous works such as "Haemoo," "Worst Woman," "Chunmong," "The Table," and "One Spring Night."
Notably, in director Lee Isaac Chung's film "Minari," she played the role of Monica, portraying a delicate yet resilient character with high density and leaving a deep impression on global audiences beyond Korea. Through this work, she won the Best Actress award at the 2021 Gold List Awards, proving her presence as an actor.
On the small screen, she has also showcased diverse acting that transcends genres and eras, ranging from "Six Flying Dragons," "Age of Youth," and "Nokdu Flower" to "My Unfamiliar Family" and "Such a Close Traitor."
Han's scope of activities has not been limited to the screen and the small screen. Having majored in Korean traditional dance at the Korea National University of Arts, she has expanded her scope as an artist by participating in various performing arts based on her dance background.
Recently, she also took her first steps as a director. She unveiled her directorial debut, "Finding the Lost Heart," at the 13th Marie Claire Film Festival. Han co-directed the film with director Yoo Si-hyung, and also participated in screenwriting, planning, and starring, demonstrating her new potential as a creator beyond an actor.
