A large-scale exhibition providing a comprehensive view of the 30-year artistic world of Suh Do-ho, renowned for his fabric houses, is currently underway. As it is his first domestic exhibition in a long time and features a massive collection of works, visitors are even engaging in "open-runs" (queuing up before opening).

Despite it being a weekday morning, a long line has formed in front of the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Seoul.

This is a solo exhibition by artist Suh Do-ho, who has gained global renown by presenting an original perspective on space through houses made of translucent fabric.
Spanning from his childhood drawings to his latest creations, some 500 pieces including drawings, installations, videos, and sculptures are on display.
The circular-structured exhibition shows where his work began over the past 30 years, and how it has connected and expanded.
[Suh Do-ho / Artist: The behind-the-scenes stories of the works, what mindset the artist had when creating them. People seem to take a lot of interest in the production process as well, so I think this is a place to share as much of that as possible...]
In a work that meticulously reproduces a traditional Korean house built with care by his father through rubbings, the touches of both father and son can be felt amid the layers of accumulated memories.
As time passes, one can witness the artist's perspective expanding from the individual to family, community, and further into the universe.

This exhibition runs until February of next year, after which the journey will continue to Tokyo and Hong Kong.
