In the third round of the professional billiard (PBA) team league, Hana Card, Harim, and High1 Resort have each claimed their second consecutive wins since the opening, surging into the top tier.
Yesterday (the 11th), Hana Card defeated NH Nonghyup Card with a set score of 4-2 on the second day of the "Welcom Savings Bank PBA Team League Pohang Tour 2026-2027" held at the Pohang Gymnasium in Gyeongsangbuk-do.
Defending champion Hana Card took the first and second sets, but then conceded the third and fourth sets to NH Nonghyup Card, led by Cho Jae-ho and Ma Minh Cam (Vietnam).
However, in the fifth set, Nguyen Quoc Nguyen (Vietnam) seized the momentum by racking up a high run of 7 points in just 3 innings to defeat Dao Van Ly (Vietnam) 11-2, and "Billiard Queen" Kim Ga-young put the finishing touch in the sixth set by defeating Jung Soo-bin 9-2.
Harim broke a tight deadlock in the third set—tied 1-1 in set scores—when rising star Kim Young-won defeated Antonio Montes (Spain) 15-11, ultimately routing the Breakers 4-1.
High1 Resort easily defeated Round 1 champions Woori Financial Capital 4-0, fueled by stellar performances from Lütfi Çenet (Türkiye) and Kang Ji-eun, who each secured two wins in singles and doubles matches.
Welcom Savings Bank clinched a victory after a full-set battle against SY, as Cho Kun-hwi stepped up in the seventh set to defeat Seo Hyun-min 11-4, while Huons beat Crown Haitai 4-2.
