Delivering his first negotiating group speech at the National Assembly since taking office, People Power Party Floor Leader Chung Jum-sik targeted the ruling bloc's push for constitutional amendment.
He claimed that President Lee Jae-myung intends to delay his ongoing trials by extending his presidential term, declaring that there will be no constitutional revision under the current administration.

He criticized that all sectors under the current administration—including public security, real estate, the stock market, and the rule of law—are collapsing, employing political coined words to drive his point home.

Amidst the walkout by some Democratic Party lawmakers, Floor Leader Chung also unveiled seven major pledges, including restoring prosecutors' supplementary investigation rights, the complete abolition of inheritance and gift taxes between spouses, and the scrapping of early voting.
Regarding Floor Leader Chung's speech, the Democratic Party criticized it, stating, "It abandoned responsibility and alternatives, overflowing only with far-right claims and curses."
