Korean-American broadcaster Nancy Lang has been caught by police on charges of drunk driving.
The Seoul Gangnam Police Station has booked Nancy Lang on charges of driving under the influence.
Nancy Lang is accused of driving while intoxicated in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, at around 3:45 AM today.
Her blood alcohol concentration at the time of the crackdown reportedly reached the level for license revocation.
However, no accidents resulting from the drunk driving, such as casualties or property damage, were reported.
Police are currently investigating the exact circumstances of the incident.
Born in the United States, Nancy Lang graduated from an international school in the Philippines and majored in Western painting at Hongik University College of Fine Arts. Since then, she has built a broadcasting career while working across various fields beyond just art.
She has also managed a wholesale and retail cosmetics business and has a history of competing and winning awards in bodybuilding championships.
Nancy Lang married Wang Jin-jin in 2017, but the two divorced the following year.
After filing for divorce at the time, she shared news of her legal victory two years and nine months later. In a broadcast appearance, she confessed that her marriage to Wang Jin-jin left her with 1.5 billion won in debt, with monthly interest alone reaching 13 million won.
Currently, Nancy Lang is active both as a contemporary artist and a broadcaster.
In June, she held a special exhibition combining Korean folk painting with pop art, showcasing her activities as an artist.
