A short while ago at the National Assembly, People Power Party Floor Leader Jung Jum-sik delivered a negotiation group speech. Floor Leader Jung stated firmly that there will be no constitutional amendment under the current administration, making it clear that the party will not respond to the Democratic Party's push for constitutional revision discussions.

Stepping up to deliver a negotiation group speech for the regular parliamentary session for the first time since taking office as floor leader, People Power Party Floor Leader Jung Jum-sik began by targeting the intent of recent cabinet appointments, labeling the ministerial nominees as "individuals linked to fraud suspicions" and "symbols of preferential treatment and unfairness."
[Jung Jum-sik / People Power Party Representative: Appointments are a message. It means, 'We will definitely erase the President's own crimes,' 'We will give up on the youth generation,' and 'We will continue real estate regulations and populist policies.']
Addressing Democratic Party Representative Kim Min-seok's remarks yesterday (the 7th) in his negotiation group speech that he would "pursue a realistic constitutional amendment," Floor Leader Jung drew a hard line, stating, "There is no constitutional revision in this administration," and "We will never discuss constitutional revision with forces seeking to promote private interests through it."
He then sharpened his criticism, claiming that the nomination of Minister of Justice nominee Kim Seung-won revealed once again that the top national task of the ruling administration is "erasing the President's crimes."

Regarding the issue of ballot paper shortages, Floor Leader Jung stated that the party will review plans to completely abolish the early voting system and extend the period for main voting.
He also stated that the abolition of prosecutors' supplementary investigation rights would ultimately lead to public suffering, and announced plans to revive supplementary investigation rights.
On real estate issues, he announced plans to exempt acquisition taxes on first-time home purchases for young adults and newlyweds, and to provide ultra-low-interest loans. Regarding single-stock leverage exchange-traded funds (ETFs)—which have been pointed to as a cause of extreme volatility in the domestic stock market—he called for a special counsel investigation, stating that the background of their introduction must be thoroughly investigated.
