President Lee Jae-myung, currently on a state visit to France, arrived in Paris on the 7th local time.
President Lee is scheduled to carry out bilateral state visit schedules in Paris for two days from the 8th to the 9th.
First, on the 8th, he will lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at the Arc de Triomphe, attend an official welcoming ceremony hosted by the French government, and then hold a private luncheon with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace.
Following this, an expanded summit will be held with delegations from both countries attending.
After the summit, schedules such as the South Korea-France Business Roundtable involving about 20 companies from both countries and a state dinner hosted by President and Mrs. Macron are slated to follow.
On the 9th, President Lee plans to meet with Yaël Braun-Pivet, President of the French National Assembly, hold a luncheon meeting with Korean residents, and meet with Mathias Cormann, Secretary-General of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
