Promising men's single figure skater Jung Jae-wook (Kyunggi High School) finished 10th in the short program at the 2026–2027 International Skating Union (ISU) Junior Grand Prix Series 3.
Competing in Bangkok, Thailand on the 3rd (local time), Jung scored a total of 63.76 points, combining 34.55 points in technical elements score (TES), 30.21 points in program components score (PCS), and a 1-point deduction.
He trails leader Li Yanhao of New Zealand (86.65 points) by 22.89 points and third-place Hiro Kewtatip of Thailand (81.55 points), who is in the medal zone, by 17.79 points.
Jung showed some disappointment in non-jumping elements, receiving a Level 2 after losing his balance during the change foot combination spin.
Kim Aaron (Mandeok High School), who competed alongside him, finished in 15th place with a total of 53.45 points, consisting of 27.48 points in technical elements, 27.97 points in program components, and a 2-point deduction.
He received heavy deductions on all three jumping elements.
