Today (September 2) marks one week since The Great Flood occurred in Nepal. (The Great Flood occurred on August 26) Amid the arrival of South Korea's emergency relief team in Kathmandu, we look into the search operations for the 9 missing South Koreans and other missing persons, as well as the local atmosphere in Nepal.

Nepal's Foreign Minister stated, "This is a disaster we did not create," and has demanded compensation from major greenhouse gas emitters such as the United States, China, and India. Nepal accounts for a mere 0.01% of global greenhouse gas emissions. We examine the issue of "responsibility" for global warming, which is expected to intensify further.
