Recently, a post spread online claiming that an engaged couple had blocked a lane in the Namsan Tunnel for a wedding photoshoot.
However, it was revealed to be untrue.
On August 25, a post and photos were uploaded claiming that a man and a woman had blocked a lane inside the Namsan Tunnel No. 3 to take wedding photos.
Looking at the photos, it is a two-lane tunnel.
A white vehicle is parked in one of the lanes, and traffic cones restricting passage are set up behind it.
Near the tunnel wall, a man and a woman can be seen.
They also appear to be wearing a white dress and a black suit.
Upon seeing this, netizens reacted with criticism, calling it a "dangerous act" and a "nuisance."
However, acquaintances of the individuals in the photos stepped forward to refute the claims.
They explained that the incident occurred when their car suddenly broke down while they were on their way to attend a graduate school commencement ceremony.
Instead, they were reportedly taking measures such as hand signals to prevent secondary accidents.
Meanwhile, the original post claiming it was a wedding photoshoot has reportedly been deleted.
