Popular travel YouTuber Pani Bottle (Park Jae-han, 38), who runs a channel with 2.6 million subscribers, is drawing explosive reactions after surprisingly revealing his girlfriend.
On the afternoon of the 31st, Pani Bottle uploaded a video titled "Taking a Honeymoon on the World's Largest Cruise" to his YouTube channel. While many subscribers initially expected it to be a "honeymoon concept" trip given the title, the video—filmed in Madrid, Spain—showed Pani Bottle surprising viewers when he answered, "Did I come on my honeymoon alone? I came with someone," and introduced an attractive woman with short hair who joined him on the trip.
Sitting his girlfriend next to him, Pani Bottle said, "She is my girlfriend, and although we aren't married yet, we came on our honeymoon first." He then checked with her, asking, "You aren't going to say anything later like 'why aren't we going on a honeymoon' or violate any kind of contract like that, right?"
On this day, the girlfriend introduced herself by the name "Melona." When asked why, she replied, "Because I like Melona, and my Overwatch ID is Melona, so I'm Melona."
Pani Bottle announced the official start of their trip, saying, "This time, we will be taking a trip to ride the world's largest cruise as a sort of honeymoon. Since I usually don't talk much, I'll probably be doing most of the talking. Anyway, since she's appearing with me, please treat her well."
While touring the "Royal Suite," the top-tier cabin on the ship which costs around 130 million KRW for a one-week stay, Pani Bottle showed his affection by saying, "Later on, if we have a child and they grow up, make sure they never get to watch this video."
