Eighteen-year-old forward Kim Ye-geon, who joined the Serbian professional football powerhouse Red Star Belgrade on the 25th, narrowly missed an assist opportunity in his debut just six days after joining the club.
Red Star secured a 2-0 away victory against Zemun in the 7th round of the 2026-2027 Serbian SuperLiga held at the Dragan Džajić Stadium in Ub, Serbia, on the 31st (Korean time).
Having played two fewer matches than other teams, Red Star extended their winning streak to five matches from the start of the season (15 points), tying them with Vojvodina (15 points)—who have played two more games—while maintaining the lead on goal difference.

Receiving the ball on the left flank, Kim dribble-penetrated into the left side of the penalty area past a defender and delivered a precise cutback. Matej Gaštarov, who received the pass near the center of the penalty area, unleashed a right-footed shot.
The ball off Gaštarov's foot headed toward the bottom right corner of the goal, but it was denied by a superb diving save from the Zemun goalkeeper, squandering Kim's assist opportunity.
However, Kim played a pivotal role in setting up Red Star's second goal.
During a counterattack in stoppage time of the second half, Kim penetrated into the right side of the penalty area, received the ball, and sent in a left-footed cross.
Unfortunately, the ball deflected off an opponent's defender, but Mirko Ivanić picked it up and scored with a right-footed turning shot from the left side of the penalty arc, sealing the team's 2-0 victory.
Despite playing a brief 11 minutes, Kim recorded 10 touches and 1 key pass, earning a rating of 6.4 from SofaScore.
