The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a special travel advisory for four provinces in Nepal: Bagmati, Gandaki, Koshi, and Lumbini.
Special travel advisories are issued in cases of urgent and short-term risks.
The ministry explained that these four regions suffered major flood damage on August 26, raising concerns over potential additional flooding.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs advised those planning to travel to the affected areas to cancel or postpone their trips, urged travelers already staying there to exercise extreme caution regarding their personal safety, and recommended relocating to safer areas unless travel is strictly urgent.
The ministry stated that it will continue to closely monitor the flood situation in Nepal and review the need for any additional adjustments to the travel alerts.
