Men pull a body floating on the water closer with a long wooden stick and grab it by the hair.
After poking around the head of the body with the long wooden stick and examining it, one man supports the neck area with the stick while the other grabs the hair and pulls off an earring.
People gathered around simply watch the scene unfold.
This footage, filmed in Nepal, which suffered severe flood damage, recently spread across social media and sparked controversy.
The body in question reportedly drifted down to the lower reaches of the Narayani River following a massive flood triggered by a landslide in Tibet.
As the video spread rapidly and public outrage grew, police in Chitwan, Nepal, launched an investigation, and the two men shown in the video were ultimately arrested on theft charges.
Local police plan to investigate the exact circumstances of the incident involving the suspects.
Earlier, at around 9 a.m. on the 26th, a massive landslide and flood, presumed to have been caused by a glacial collapse in the Himalayan region near the border between Nepal and China, left at least 362 people dead and more than 1,200 missing.
At the time, nine South Koreans, including six workers from Doosan Enerbility and three workers from Korea South-East Power who were constructing a hydroelectric power plant locally, were also reported missing.
