Broadcaster Park Soo-hong has issued an apology regarding a delayed flight departure caused by his family.
Recently, a post surfaced online claiming that the departure of a flight bound for Guam was delayed by an hour because Park's family changed their minds about getting off the plane.
Amid growing controversy over alleged special treatment for a celebrity, Park took to social media to apologize, stating that he caused inconvenience and took away precious time from many people due to the incident.
He explained that his child began crying as soon as they boarded the plane, and fearing it would cause major disturbance to the passengers, they decided to disembark.
While waiting inside the aircraft, the child stopped crying, leading them to decide to re-board. However, he explained that he failed to realize beforehand that security screening and other procedures would cause delays.
