Scream at Police Station Civil Petitions Office... Rescued by Rushing Police Officer

A woman suddenly collapsed inside the civil petitions office of a police station.

Thanks to the prompt first aid provided by a police officer, her life was saved.

On June 22, a woman in her 50s visited the civil petitions office of the Yongin Dongbu Police Station.

She suddenly collapsed while complaining of breathing difficulties.

Inspector Kim Minhee, who was working at the traffic civil petition booth at the time, heard the scream and rushed right over.

After asking people nearby to call 119, she began performing CPR.

Inspector Kim continued CPR for six minutes following the instructions of the emergency dispatcher on the phone.

Meanwhile, fellow police officers kept the entrance doors open in advance so that the paramedics could enter the civil petitions office without delay.

Thanks to this swift response, the woman fortunately recovered her breathing.

She was transported to a hospital by 119 paramedics for treatment.

Having recovered her health, the woman reportedly visited the police station again to express her direct gratitude to Inspector Kim.
