[Reporter] Yes, a post was recently uploaded to an online community claiming that a person booked a family photo shoot for 49,000 won and ended up paying 7.15 million won.

[Anchor] What happened?

[Reporter] Person A's family booked a family photo shoot for five people, paying the 49,000 won shooting fee in advance, and also paid additional costs for traditional Korean clothing (hanbok), hair, and makeup.

After finishing the shoot with two concepts, an unexpected situation occurred during the photo selection process.

The studio reportedly informed them that receiving the original digital files would cost over 6 million won, and the family ultimately claimed they paid a total of 7.15 million won by credit card, including albums and frames.

After returning home, feeling that the amount was excessive, Person A requested a refund, but the studio stated that a refund was difficult because the original files had already been sent.

However, when Person A threatened to report them to the Korea Consumer Agency, the studio reportedly backed down from its initial stance, offering to lower the price to 4 million won or 5 million won depending on the package configuration.

Pointing out that the payment amount changed drastically in a short period of time, Person A urged consumers to thoroughly check the total price and additional costs before a photo shoot.

Netizens reacted with astonishment, commenting, "Even 500,000 won would be absurd, but 7 million won is too much," and "It is clear fraud."
