He stated that powerful economic sanctions will be introduced next week, aiming to further isolate Iran economically through measures never before seen in history.

Analysts suggest that the U.S. shifted its direction toward intensifying economic pressure because it felt burdened by continuing military strikes.
Local reports have continued to emerge indicating that as the war drags on, the U.S. military's stockpile of core ammunition has dropped to dangerously low levels, and a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier operating off the coast of Iran has also reached its operational limits.
Meanwhile, the U.S. Central Command, which oversees American forces in the Middle East, announced that it has initiated work to establish a multinational attack drone unit.
