Director Lee Joon-ik's short-form drama "Father's Home-Cooked Meal" is set to be screened in theaters next month.
The director said that the vertical frame allows viewers to observe the deep corners of the characters.

Set for release on the 9th of next month, "Father's Home-Cooked Meal" tells the story of a father who, after demanding home-cooked meals three times a day for 40 years, steps into the kitchen for the first time after his wife suddenly becomes unable to cook.
The film humorously unfolds the father's cooking challenge as he prepares a meal himself for the first time in his life, having only received them before.
Marking Director Lee Joon-ik's first foray into short-form drama directing, the project stars actors Jung Jin-young, Lee Jung-eun, and Byun Yo-han.
This marks the first time that mobile content produced with a short running time and vertical screen format is being released in theaters first.
Director Lee stated that within the vertical frame, "viewers will be able to clearly observe even the deepest corners of the characters."
