Actor and former singer Song Won-keun, 43, has announced his marriage through a handwritten letter.
On August 11, Song posted the handwritten letter on his social media, writing, "I am writing this because there is something a bit cautious, yet something I wanted to share with you before anyone else. I have met someone I want to spend the rest of my life with, and I am about to start a new life with that person." He expressed his feelings, saying, "Since you are the ones who have always been by my side through my precious moments, I wanted to deliver this news directly to you first."
Song shared his thoughts on his marriage, saying, "Honestly, before I knew it, I reached an age where the term 'old bachelor' suits me, but thankfully, I am finally shedding that label. It feels a bit surreal even to myself, and above all, I am truly happy."
He continued, "Ahead of this new beginning called marriage, simply saying I am happy does not fully express how grateful I am for all the love I have received from you." He added, "While marriage is a new chapter in my life, I will keep walking forward even more diligently so that I can continue to learn more, ponder deeper, and meet you through great productions and acting just as I have until now."
Meanwhile, having debuted in 2000 with the group OPPA, Song transitioned to acting and has performed on major musical stages starting with 'Goong' in 2010, followed by 'Rent', 'Finding Kim Jong-wook', 'Thrill Me', 'Guys and Dolls', 'Black Mary Poppins', 'Daddy Long Legs', and 'Red Book'. He also left a strong impression on the public by appearing in writer Im Sung-han's dramas 'Princess Aurora' and 'Apgujeong Midnight Sun' between 2013 and 2015, and has met viewers through projects including 'Tomorrow Also Victory' and 'The Bride of Habaek'.
