Actor Yoo Seung-ho made a surprise appearance in Flex X Cop 2, instantly capturing viewers' hearts in just 10 seconds.
The SBS Friday-Saturday drama Flex X Cop 2 (written by Kim Ba-da, directed by Kim Jae-hong) revealed Yoo Seung-ho's first appearance during the ending cookie video of the second episode broadcast on August 8, living up to the massive buzz surrounding his special cameo.
In the series, Yoo Seung-ho plays Yoo Sung-won, a third-generation chaebol who is the youngest son of a media group and a genius sculptor. He is a character who has liked and followed Jin Yi-soo (played by Ahn Bo-hyun) since childhood, sharing a deep friendship with him.
In the released cookie video, Yoo Sung-won stands in the middle of a reed field under a drizzling rain, slowly turning his head toward someone. Although it was a brief sequence of only about 10 seconds, he created a unique, story-laden atmosphere with a profound gaze alone, without uttering a single line. Following this, the image of Joo Hye-ra (played by Jung Eun-chae) standing in the same reed field and lost in thought overlap, raising curiosity about the hidden narrative between the two characters.
Previously, director Kim Jae-hong and the production team stated regarding Yoo's appearance, "He is scheduled to appear frequently from the early stages," adding with witty confidence, "He is a 'special' appearance because he appears specially often." With just this first appearance, Yoo Seung-ho perfectly justified the production team's promise, previewing his active role as a hidden card holding the key to future core incidents.
Flex X Cop 2, which introduced a fresh viewing point through Yoo Seung-ho's intense arrival, airs every Friday and Saturday at 9:50 PM.
