Sweltering Heat Centered in Western Regions for the Time Being... Apparent Temperatures Over 33°C

The extreme heat has subsided somewhat, feeling almost cool.

Today (August 10), Seoul's daytime apparent temperature will rise to 33°C (91°F), and Jeonju to 35°C (95°F).

The east coast regions, influenced easterly winds, will see daytime temperatures linger around 28°C (82°F) in Yangyang.

Sweltering heat with apparent temperatures above 33°C (91°F) will continue for the time being, mainly in the western regions.

Meanwhile, influenced by Typhoon Dolphin heading toward China, strong winds will blow into the Jeju region.

Waves will run high, mainly across the seas.

Vessels navigating or operating in these waters need to exercise special caution.

Strong swell waves will crash onto the east coast for the time being.

Those going for water activities must remain vigilant against safety accidents.

As the week progresses into the mid-to-latter half, there will be frequent days of rain in the east coast regions.
