SBS Power FM (107.7 MHz) has reclaimed its status as South Korea's top radio station, returning to the number one spot in overall radio listener ratings for the first time in two years.
According to the 2026 Round 3 radio ratings survey released by Hankook Research on the 5th, SBS Power FM claimed an overwhelming first place with an overall channel market share of listener ratings of 23.3%.
This marks the first time in about two years that SBS Power FM has topped the overall channel ratings since the Round 3 survey in 2024. Having consistently maintained its throne among listeners in their 20s to 40s—its core demographic—the station proved its formidable channel competitiveness spanning all generations by sweeping the overall ratings in this latest survey.
SBS Power FM's stellar performance also shone through in individual program results. Its flagship program, "Cultwo Show," swept both weekday and weekend overall program listener ratings simultaneously, demonstrating the true power of a national entertainment radio show.
The station also dominated the weekday program rankings. Following "Cultwo Show," "Kim Young-chul's Power FM" ranked second overall, and "Hwang Je-sung's Hwangje Power" placed sixth overall, placing three programs within the top 10 on weekdays.
Having recaptured the top spot in overall listener ratings based on youthful, trendy content and the unrivaled performances of its popular DJs, SBS Power FM has solidified its position as South Korea's representative radio channel through a robust lineup that appeals across specific time slots and age groups.
Meanwhile, the latest radio listener ratings survey was conducted for two weeks from July 7 to July 20 among 3,000 radio listeners aged 15 to 69 in Seoul and the metropolitan area.
