Actor Lim Soo-hyang picked her ideal type among the cast members of "My Little Old Boy."
On the August 2 broadcast of SBS's "My Little Old Boy," actor Lim Soo-hyang appeared as a special MC.
During the broadcast, Shin Dong-yup brought up Lim Soo-hyang, saying he felt very sorry for her. He asked, "I heard that 'New Tales of Gisaeng' has been rerun countless times over the past 15 years, but you have never received a single rerun fee. What happened?"
Shin Dong-yup then asked, "Don't tell me you forgot to apply for it?" and Lim Soo-hyang answered yes, surprising everyone. Lim explained, "It really gets rerun a lot every year. It airs so often that even young friends tell me they saw it. However, I found out about the system way too late. Later on, the association looked for me, asking why I hadn't joined and telling me that a large sum of money had piled up."
Lim added, "I found out after the drama 'Iris' aired, but they told me I couldn't receive payments for anything prior to that," eliciting sympathy from everyone.
Also on this day, Lim selected Kim Hee-chul as the "My Little Old Boy" cast member closest to her ideal type. She chose Kim Hee-chul, explaining the real reason with a laugh: "Kim Hee-chul, Heo Kyung-hwan, Yoon Hyun-min, and Choi Jin-hyuk are all older brothers I know personally. Still, I will pick Hee-chul, whom I am closest with. Rumors never start between him and me."
