Shooting at US In-N-Out Restaurant Leaves Multiple Casualties

Police reported that a shooting occurred at an In-N-Out Burger restaurant in Twin Falls, Idaho, US, on the afternoon of August 1 local time, resulting in multiple casualties.

Twin Falls Police Chief Matthew Hicks announced during a press conference that there were fatalities from the incident and that the gunman is also dead.

However, he stated, "The exact number of dead or injured has not yet been determined, and authorities are in the process of notifying the victims' families."

Local authorities told NBC News that 3 people were killed and 2 others were injured in the incident.

However, it has not been confirmed whether this tally includes the gunman.

Police are currently investigating the gunman's identity and the motive behind the crime.

A witness told the Associated Press that they saw a man carrying a rifle emerge from the drive-thru area of the In-N-Out restaurant, and that the gunman fired at least 3 to 4 shots.

The scene of the incident is an area densely packed with shopping malls and restaurants, and police stated that hundreds of people were nearby at the time.
