The death toll from a massive landslide in southwestern China's Chongqing has risen to 51.
Ten people remain missing.
According to China's state-run Xinhua News Agency and authorities in Pengshui County, Chongqing, a total of 51 people were confirmed dead as of the previous day following a landslide that struck Pengshui County at around 9:00 a.m. on June 17.
At the time of the accident, 10 homes and a bus carrying multiple passengers were buried under collapsed soil and debris.
Pengshui County authorities stated that they have concluded search operations in the affected land areas and are continuing search efforts in the river located in front of the landslide site.
The accident prompted the emergency evacuation of some 1,100 residents and others, while three of the 10 rescued individuals have completed treatment and been discharged from the hospital.
Authorities explained that they deployed around 2,300 pieces of equipment and carried out continuous search operations for 325 hours.
