The film "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" has surpassed 1 million moviegoers nationwide in just two days since its release.
According to the Korean Film Council's integrated ticketing computer network on July 30, "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" recorded a cumulative audience of 1,001,040 at around 2:25 PM today (July 30), its second day in theaters. This marks the fastest pace to reach the 1 million milestone among films released this year.
Furthermore, this box office speed matches that of "Avengers: Infinity War," which triggered an explosive syndrome by mobilizing 11.23 million moviegoers and also crossed the 1 million mark on its second day. Maintaining 740,000 advance ticket sales even after its release, attention is now focused on its opening weekend performance.
"Spider-Man: Brand New Day" is an action blockbuster where Peter Parker, who has been forgotten by everyone due to the events of "Spider-Man: No Way Home," faces a deeper crisis as a mysterious enemy who remembers his true identity appears and he gains uncontrollable power through DNA mutation, forcing him to stand against a new threat to protect those dear to him. It stars Tom Holland and Zendaya.
