Let's take a look at our third hot topic.
These days, majors that lead directly to employment are very popular.
Representative examples include semiconductor departments affiliated with companies like Samsung Electronics.
And now, news is drawing the attention of test-takers that a "Sungsimdang Department" tied to Daejeon's famous bakery, Sungsimdang, has been established.
It is Woosong Information College in Daejeon.
The Sungsimdang Class, which was previously a one-year training program for second-year students, will be expanded into an official department starting next year, with plans to recruit new students.
Test-takers undergoing the college admissions process this year can now apply to the Sungsimdang Department with the goal of working at Sungsimdang.
The university explained that it plans to select 35 students in the general admissions process by reflecting high school grades and interviews, adding that applicants can apply regardless of their region.
There are many students whose career goal is confectionery and baking.
Interest is already running high.
Given Sungsimdang's nationwide popularity, there are also forecasts that competition for admissions will be fierce.
