Actor Hwang Jung-min's agency has released an official statement regarding recently circulated online posts.
On July 29, his agency, SEM Company, stated regarding "A," the individual who uploaded the posts, "The author of the malicious posts regarding Hwang Jung-min is a stalking crime suspect who has continuously harassed Hwang Jung-min."
The agency added, "Hwang Jung-min filed a criminal complaint against the author, and the court issued provisional measures, including restraining orders, against the suspect on three occasions," explaining, "Furthermore, acknowledging the stalking charges, the court issued a summary order imposing a fine of 3 million won."
SEM Company also stated, "We plan to take additional legal action regarding maliciously edited posts," adding, "We apologize for causing concern due to such matters."
Recently, "A" caused a stir by releasing messages and audio files on social media that were allegedly exchanged with Hwang Jung-min.
