An Byeong-hun finished tied for fourth place in the second round of the LIV Golf UK tournament.
During the second round held at the JCB Golf and Country Club in Rocester, England, An shot 4-under-par, with one eagle, three birdies, and one bogey.
With a cumulative score of 9-under-par, An reached the halfway point tied for fourth, eight strokes behind solo leader Lucas Herbert of Australia, who sits at 17-under-par.
An, who left the PGA Tour this year to join LIV Golf, is continuing to show strong performances.
At the season opener and his LIV Golf debut in Riyadh in February, he finished tied for ninth, becoming the first South Korean national player to break into the top 10, followed by a tied for 11th finish at the Andalucia tournament in June.
Most of the other South Korean players finished the second round in the lower tier.
Song Young-han finished tied for 42nd at 1-over-par, Kim Min-kyu placed 46th at 2-over-par, and Moon Do-yeop tied for 50th at 4-over-par.
Australia's Lucas Herbert took the solo lead at 17-under-par, while the United States' Bryson DeChambeau climbed to sole possession of second place at 13-under-par.
