A music video teaser for BLACKPINK member Jennie's new song has been released, heightening anticipation for her comeback.
On the 22nd, Jennie posted a short teaser video on her official TikTok account along with the message, "'Less than a Lover' music video coming out this Friday." The released video features Jennie and Kai standing side by side against the backdrop of a green field and a long, unpaved road. After looking into the camera and reciting the lyrics of her new song, Jennie takes Kai's hand and runs with him, creating a vibe reminiscent of a youth film.
Jennie participated in the overall production of this new song, including lyric writing and music video directing. Prior to its official release, she performed the track live at the US "The Governors Ball Music Festival 2026" and Spain's "Mad Cool Festival," garnering an enthusiastic response from global fans. She is also scheduled to take the stage next month at the US "Lollapalooza Chicago" and Japan's "Summer Sonic 2026."
Previously, Jennie's agency, OA Entertainment, drew attention by posting a photo on social media showing her sitting side by side with a man whose face was obscured. The man has been identified as Kai, a Taiwanese model active in South Korea.
