Songs featured during the halftime show of the recent North American World Cup final, including BTS's "Dynamite," are drawing renewed attention.
Billboard recently reported that on the day of the final, streaming counts for "Dynamite" rose 13% from the previous day to reach 160,000 streams.
In addition, "Die Die," the official theme song performed by pop stars Shakira and Burna Boy, saw a 25% increase compared to the day before.
Justin Bieber's "Everything Hallelujah" surged by 34%.
There are also songs that achieved chart reversals despite not being performed during the halftime show stage.
The song "Wonderwall" by the British band Oasis re-entered Billboard's main single chart, the Hot 100, for the first time in 30 years after being embraced as an unofficial anthem for the England national football team.
