YG Entertainment is holding the 2026 YG Global Audition through December.
This marks YG's first large-scale audition in two years, with plans to discover next-generation stars who will lead the global music market beyond K-pop.
The auditions kicked off in Beijing, China, on the 19th, and will proceed sequentially in Chengdu, China (July 25), Shanghai (August 1), Shenzhen (August 9), Tokyo, Japan (August 9), and Osaka (September 20).
From October to December, the auditions will continue in various regions around the world, including the United States, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
Regardless of gender or nationality, anyone born between 2008 and 2015 is eligible to apply for this audition.
Participants can choose their strongest field among singing, rap, dance, and visual, and the categories have been expanded from previous auditions to include acting and special talents.
Celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, YG has discovered and nurtured numerous idol groups over the years, including BIGBANG, 2NE1, BLACKPINK, TREASURE, and BABYMONSTER.
