[Anchor] Did the police really have to be called because of a customer demanding a refund?
[Reporter] Yes, this is a video that was recently shared on social media.
A middle-aged woman visited a store with a product that had already been opened and demanded a refund.
When the employee explained, "It is difficult to process a refund for a product that has been opened," the woman protested loudly, saying, "Can't you just repackage it?"
Another customer who was watching the scene tried to intervene, saying, "You shouldn't act so unreasonably toward an employee who is young enough to be your granddaughter." However, the woman then turned her aggression toward that customer, hurling insults and demeaning remarks about their appearance.
Eventually, police officers arrived following a report and asked for the woman's resident registration number to verify her identity, noting that she had used abusive language. The woman denied the accusations, claiming, "I never cursed at anyone."
Netizens who saw the video criticized her behavior, commenting, "As you get older, you should maintain more dignity," and "How could she treat an employee young enough to be her granddaughter like that?"
