Lee Jung-hoo of the San Francisco Giants failed to maintain his momentum from the previous day, when he recorded three hits, and remained hitless in his latest outing.
Lee started as the sixth hitter and right fielder in an away game against the Seattle Mariners at T-Mobile Park in Seattle, Washington, on July 18, 2026. He struggled at the plate, finishing with no hits and two strikeouts in four at-bats.
His season batting average fell from .307 to .304.
In the top of the second inning with the score tied at 0-0 and one out, Lee struck out swinging against Seattle starting pitcher and right-hander Bryan Woo.
