It has been reported that Trump Media & Technology Group is considering a monthly fee of up to $100,000—approximately 150 million Korean won—for a service that provides access to U.S. President Donald Trump's Truth Social posts faster than they are released to the public.
According to the Financial Times, Trump Media & Technology Group, which operates Truth Social, has proposed this price point for a B2B product called Truth API, which is set to be sold to corporate clients starting next month.
Truth API is a service that delivers the content of President Trump's posts to paid subscribers in milliseconds before they are made available to the general public.
President Trump frequently uses Truth Social to make major announcements that impact the market, including those regarding tariffs, trade policy, interest rates, and diplomatic issues. For firms engaged in high-frequency trading and hedge funds, where profits can be determined by a difference of mere milliseconds, the Truth API is expected to be a point of significant interest.
While a price of $100,000 per month is considered exceptionally high even by Wall Street standards, analysts suggest that given the influence of President Trump's remarks on the market, there will likely be demand for the service regardless of the cost.
One hedge fund official stated, "People will have no choice but to pay," adding, "If you receive the news even a little late, you could suffer significant losses in the market."
However, it is reported that Trump Media & Technology Group maintains that the final pricing and launch schedule for the Truth API have not yet been finalized.
As President Trump holds approximately a 41% stake in Trump Media & Technology Group, concerns are also being raised that the service could spark controversy over conflicts of interest once it is fully operational.
