Group BBGIRLS (Minyoung, Eunji, Yuna) is making a comeback after approximately one year and two months with their new song 'BODY WAVE.' BBGIRLS will release the new single 'BODY WAVE' through various online music platforms at 6:00 PM on the 16th and begin their official promotional activities.
'BODY WAVE' is their first new song since the release of the remake track 'Wish List' in May of last year. It is a summer song that captures both flexible and explosive energy, like crashing waves, based on refreshing tropical synth sounds and intense moombahton rhythms.
Sensuous brass sounds and the signature refreshing vocals of BBGIRLS add to the song's coolness, while intuitive lyrics and an addictive performance are also highlighted as key points to enjoy.
In particular, member Minyoung not only served as a co-producer for this new song but also contributed to the overall production by participating in songwriting, chorus sessions, and casting cameos for the music video. Eunji and Yuna also actively shared their opinions during the staff formation and planning process, enhancing the quality of the work.
The music video was directed by Director BOK from the video production company 815VIDEO. While capturing the refreshing charm of BBGIRLS and sensuous aesthetics, the identity of the surprise cameo previously teased is also drawing attention.
Since joining the global label GLG in 2024, BBGIRLS have consistently met with fans through the release of remake tracks and official fan meetings.
