A middle-aged woman is facing public backlash after causing a disturbance at a cafe and grabbing the owner by the hair because she was refused a coffee refill.
On July 13, a post titled "Grandmother grabs female owner by the hair because she wouldn't refill coffee" was uploaded to an online community.
The accompanying video shows a middle-aged woman wearing a white hat arguing with a woman dressed in black before suddenly grabbing her by the hair and shaking her violently.
The middle-aged woman approached while shouting, threatened the younger woman with a clenched fist, grabbed her hair, shook her repeatedly, and then shoved her to the floor.
When the victim protested the assault, the middle-aged woman threatened her once more before quickly fleeing the scene.
The poster claimed, "She caused a scene at the cafe and grabbed the owner's hair because she was not given a coffee refill."
According to another informant, the cafe owner who suffered the assault has suspended operations for two days to file a police report and provide a statement.
Netizens who viewed the video reacted with comments such as, "She must be reported to the police for assault and obstruction of business," and "If the poster's claims are true, she must be punished."
