This is footage released by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) showing missiles being launched toward U.S. military bases.
The IRGC announced that it carried out missile and drone attacks on July 14 (local time) targeting U.S. military bases in Bahrain and Kuwait.
[Iranian State Media: The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced that in the second wave of 'Operation Nasr 2,' it struck several weapons support warehouses, a satellite communication center, and U.S. military housing facilities in Bahrain.]
Previously, the United States had signaled the resumption of a maritime blockade on Iranian ports and conducted strikes on major Iranian coastal cities and a southern city housing a nuclear power plant.
The IRGC stated that these missile attacks were in retaliation for the U.S. airstrikes.
The Revolutionary Guard warned that as long as U.S. hostile acts continue, not a single drop of oil or gas will be exported abroad, adding that U.S. provocations would only result in delaying the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.
In an interview with state television, Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister stated that they had proposed a new shipping route to Oman, a counterpart currently discussing the management of the Strait of Hormuz.
It is reported that Oman had previously proposed to Iran a plan to divide the Strait of Hormuz into two separate shipping lanes, one in the south and one in the north.
Iran stated that if Oman breaks free from U.S. pressure, it will eventually reach the same conclusion as Iran.
