Park Ji-hyun, a guard for the Los Angeles (LA) Sparks in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA), contributed to her team's winning streak by playing for over seven minutes.
The LA Sparks defeated the Chicago Sky 102-87 in a WNBA regular season home game held today (July 11) at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California.
Park started on the bench and played for 7 minutes and 44 seconds.
She did not score, as her only field goal attempt was unsuccessful, and she recorded one rebound.
Park, who joined the WNBA this season after continuing her challenge on the international stage, has appeared in 16 games since the season opener in May, averaging about 9 minutes per game as she builds her adaptability.
The Sparks, currently 9th among the 15 WNBA teams with a regular season record of 10 wins and 11 losses, will aim for a third consecutive win in an away game against the Atlanta Dream on July 14.
