Police have launched an investigation after three members of a family were found dead in an apartment in Osan, Gyeonggi Province.
According to the Osan Police Station on Wednesday, July 8, officers discovered the bodies of a man and a woman in their 50s and a man in his 20s at an apartment in Osan at approximately 8:50 p.m. the previous day.
The investigation confirmed that the deceased were a married couple and their son.
Police were dispatched to the scene after receiving a report via 112 from an acquaintance of the victims.
The acquaintance reportedly received a text message from one of the victims expressing pessimism about their life.
A suicide note was also reportedly found inside the apartment.
A police official stated, "At this time, there are no signs of foul play," adding, "We are investigating the exact circumstances of the incident."
